How to Prepare for Your Session

Your event date is approaching fast! I hope you are just as excited as I am. I can’t wait to see you and to help you primp and pamper. Whether you are preparing for a birthday party, a holiday party, or your wedding all prep steps are the same! Here is a list of some of the things I have found to be very beneficial.

Makeup:

Please come with a fresh and clean face. Make sure you drink lots of water the week leading up to the event. DON’T FORGET TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER THE MORNING OF TOO! I know it can be hard, but try not to drink too many alcoholic beverages the night before, as it could dehydrate you. You don’t want to start your big day with a hangover or feeling bloated. It also doesn’t hurt to use a hydrating mask or eye creams to help give you that magic glow.

Hair:

Please arrive with dry hair or make sure your hair is dry by the start time of your session. It is typically best to wash your hair the night before, then to blow dry your hair smooth to minimize the amount of frizz in the finished style. Please do not use a flat iron for smoothing because this could disrupt the style and how long it would hold.

Accessories:

If you have any accessories that you would like to use please bring them. This includes but is not limited to any veils, flowers, or gems. It is recommended to bring a lipstick for touch ups during the day but you will be receiving complementary lip kits.

Please let me know if I can change something or make something better for you. It is my job to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your look. You can not hurt my feelings!

Please be on time as well, following a 15 minute grace period, a $20 Waiting Fee applies for every 15 minutes that you run behind schedule.

Don’t forget to get a good nights sleep and I’ll see you soon!
